All rides are available Monday - Saturday
- "Standard Rides" at a cost of US$75 per rider. The Standard Ride tour times are 10:00am, 2:00pm & 5:00pm. Tour length is approximately one hour and fifteen minutes (1h 15mins). Pick up 30 minutes before each tour time.
- "Private Rides" are available for US$90 per rider. At least two days advance booking notice required. Like the Standard Ride, the Private Ride tour times are 10:00am, 2:00pm & 5:00pm. Tour length is approximately one hour and fifteen minutes (1h 15mins). Pick up 30 minutes before each tour time.
- "Standard Ride 'n' Swim" 10am, 2pm: US$125.00 per person. This ride has the added bonus of swimming with the horses in the Caribbean Sea!! It lasts approximately 1 3/4 hours. This is reserved for morning and early afternoon rides only. NOTE: It is permissible for riders on this tour to choose not to swim their horse, however, if this package is booked, all riders will be charged the same rate whether or not they swim. Riders who prefer to stay dry will dismount their horses which will be tied. The riders will wait on the beach until the conclusion of the swim which lasts approximately 45 minutes. This one is very popular and exhilarating. You MUST be able to swim.
- "Private Ride ‘n’ Swim" 10am, 2pm: US$150.00 per person. Same as the Standard Ride ‘n’ Swim PLUS the tour is exclusively yours (Private). You MUST be able to swim.

Reservations are recommended, however, same day rides may be available, so call at least 4 hours before your preferred time frame.
We would be delighted to pick you up from your hotel, condo or the cruise ship dock. Pick-ups are limited to George Town and West Bay Road and the cruise ship terminals. We require a 4 hour notice period. We pick up 30 minutes before the scheduled ride times noted above. Our operator will let you know where to meet when you call.
Spirit of the West aims to provide a safe & enjoyable experience for everyone.
With that in mind, we must insist on the following Terms & Conditions:
CHILDREN must be at least 7 years of age to be allowed to ride; Parents/Guardians must sign a LETTER OF CONSENT for minors prior to riding; Riders must weigh under 225 lbs.; PAYMENT in full is due prior to riding; Rides are to be conducted in a walk or slow trot; Riders are expected to treat horses with RESPECT and KINDNESS. Riders who abuse horses will be asked to dismount and discontinue the ride without refund; CANCELLATIONS must be made within 24 hours of scheduled ride to guarantee full refund. No refunds will be made after this period; FULL REFUNDS are available if INCLEMENT WEATHER cancels your scheduled ride, HOWEVER, if you choose to proceed with the ride you will be charged full price for all riders in the event that the ride is ultimately cancelled due to weather. You will be contacted in advance of the ride and given the option to ride or cancel/postpone. Once a commitment to ride is given and horses are saddled, full charges apply.
Your excursion will be led by experienced & professional guides with over 25 years of experience with horses. We ask that you heed their advice and follow their instructions to ensure a safe ride for you and those around you. Please feel free to ask questions at any time.
