In the clips above, Paul demonstrates how horses respond when trained with respect, love and trust. As flight animals, (i.e. prey who flee danger), horses are most vulnerable when lying down. This behaviour demonstrates weakness for hunters. The act of Paul coaxing his horses into submitting themselves to him is the epitomy of trust and, for those who understand the nature of this animal, is one of the most remarkable exercises.
Notice that there are no prods, no whips and no restraints. Each horse is able to jump up by their own will - but choose to stay.
